At the beginning of the blog, I wanted to post a lot of things but I had little post, now I shoot very regularly and I can not find the time, it's great ... Because I have lots of topics I want to speak here, I will address them in chronological order but according to mood, and continue posting retaining the idea "one post per topic."

First: I bought a month ago on 24 mm 1.4 Nikon, basically it's a bomb unnamed, the only goal I really that hard to fully open (yes, even better my 85 1.4). I will take time to return it in a specific post, as I have already used extensively in several reports on conditions quite different. Read the rest of this entry »

I was contacted by Lionel as part of a book project on the Carnival of La Louviere, which will be published by the company of Gilles merchants, plus a photo book, a book in fact, at last something composed of large images with a small line caption for the picture.

We had 6 photographers working on the story, I was the only foreigner in folklore, one reason among others why I had been chosen: the advantage of being outside is that we have a look "candid" on folklore. In addition, in a city where almost everyone knows, if it was my city I would have risked to spend more time talking with people that make images: there was not the case. Before storing quadra, I worked with two 400W studio flashes (with integrated general) AC; quite heavy and bulky to transport, the alternative being cobras, less powerful, less coverage, less accessories by super cons versatile.

Since my desires and demands of images evolve, I inquired on the side of studio flash "portable", basically to combine something portable but able to provide enough power for me not to limit light level. Read the rest of this entry »

As I explained in the previous post dedicated to the wedding of Kim & Jeff , I will detail the equipment used for this type of reporting and return on one essential point: Backups and skimming, for this solution I decided take a Netbook, the first observations on video in this post. Kim & Jeff Wedding - Bali

November 26th, 2009

http://www.photob.be/images/2009/kim&jeff/mariagekim&jeff.jpg

2009 was a year with a lot of marriages (and it's not over) As I explain on my site, what I love in marriage, is the variety of situations and people who are there to share a moment, partying, there are many different photographic opportunities.

I shall refer in detail to one or the other marriage that I was stronger this year (of course with the permission of those concerned).
