In order to familiarize myself with the D3 and its many AF mode, I went to the 20km of Brussels, to test and become familiar with a case nothing like the real conditions. I took two goals on 12/24 (DX) from home and Tokina 80/200 2.8 of Nikon.

Heavy Overcast (with bonus in the rain when I arrived) that quickly cleared to make room has a beautiful sun (note for later: always take a pola filter even if the weather does not bode well). Read the rest of this entry »

Some pictures of "tourist" made during my vacation slides on the snowpark Valtorens, I'm not very sports photo far more by lack of opportunity than lack of interest of the genre.
I mean photo of a tourist show up on site for a relatively short period of time, no sightings, with two goals not super responsive and light not good to bring some pictures.

Some photos taken in a beautiful blue sky, like the previous series I was looking for a denser up my sky, this time I was back to the sun so the task was much easier, no flash, just the sunlight to illuminate the subject and a polarizing filter screwed up to get that deep blue.

I had made up his mind to enjoy this sunny day and make some pictures of sports in brussels city towards the center square of the Ursulines.

The spot is loaded and I know in advance that in this kind of place it is not necessary to its case, people are not to practice their discipline to play with the models, I am so quiet and I wonder to make some shots, I ask permission to a few skaters to avoid the side "I take my pictures and I'm outta here."
