2009 was a year with a lot of marriages (and it's not over) As I explain on my site, what I love in marriage, is the variety of situations and people who are there to share a moment, partying, there are many different photographic opportunities.

The duke has contacted me to take some photos of the recording of second album Rhinestone Lives (which is actually the 3rd if you count that Marja album recorded in his kitchen), the recording is taking place in the Studio Molière in Brussels, I was there three nights taking to capture some images of studio work.

Something nice as a photographer for this type of reporting, in addition to meet passionate people in very different functions of the projects is to be both involved while having the external eye that will attempt to fix some memories.

I did not know nor Marja or Rhinestone Lives , I was surprised by her energy and her voice during these three days, I received his last album Exit Wounds is really very good and I look forward to owning it ! If you want to hear a sample please visit his myspace .

This Saturday was held the festival "Rock the City" in Woluwe St Pierre Brussels, Festival that I covered last year .

The poster was rather rich with bands like: Joshua, Arid, Puggy, Pony Express, the Diplomat, Mint ... ( see poster )

This time in order not to make the public wait with endless sound checks, the organizers had installed a second scene (slightly smaller), so the public was moving from one scene to another. Two scenes with lighting quite different but equally interesting. Read the rest of this entry »

I regularly visit the site very good strobist (blog that deals predominantly with photo flash and deported a lot of inventiveness) that gives a lot of advice shooting mostly instructional videos posted by different people.
