Technical and aesthetic are often hard to reconcile, and you arrive there you perfectly. A great job, just a close, I find them all extra, I love the look it gives off. Many are beautiful pictures, but few are those who reach this level on all their shots, and to me you one of them.
Bravo.

I have often had the opportunity to enjoy your images on the D70 forum. Exhibiting stunning images here, you really have a talent to discourage the poor who, like me, trying to make something beautiful. And worse, both for shooting and look on the post-processing, especially in B & W Congratulations sincere and warm!

I like to go for a walk on the digital albums to play the curious and devouring eyes. This one stands out in both the content (pictures of a very high level, but also tinged with a naivety that hints at the youth of the author) that
how to present very pleasant site by its fluidity and leaves the viewer mastering the ballade.Je really enjoyed myself! THANK YOU

Photos of the "people" section are those that speak to me the most

Admirable glance.
Excellent work!
Congratulations!
November 18th, 2005 at 6:11
Photos absolutely beautiful!
Only gripe, I think it would be interesting to have the EXIF (focal length, aperture, CO being used ...) next to each photo.
In fact for me it allows beginners to learn, what material to use for what kind of pictures etc ...
November 22nd, 2005 at 6:11
Reworked or not, I found these great pictures because the MOMENT IS.
I love the shapes, the colors, the light ...
The gallery texture was particularly touched me because I love these closups where you capture a part of a whole, while reflecting the pattern repeats. In a well-defined entity, we extract the mystery.
November 25th, 2005 at 6:11
I found your site through nikonpassion.com site that was there reference.
Congratulations for your work, which shows a high sensitivity and a very well controlled technique.
Photography is the heart and passion, you make a very good demonstration.

December 20th, 2005 at 6:15
to watch again and again before giving a "critical" final ... but at first glance, the artist hat! beautiful pictures in full of records, it should not often you leave your "lowepro CompuTrekker!"
I quite agree with Charles that "think it would be interesting to have the EXIF (focal length, aperture, CO being used ...) next to each photo" ... but I do not know if this is feasible with the program you use for your site.
See you definitely hear from me!
December 23rd, 2005 at 6:15

Hi Benjamin,
I'm one of the friends / colleagues in Virginia and Florence. These are his photos thesis that led me to your website ...
I just wanted to tell you that your pictures move me much. Not all in the same way, but I'm very impressed. I remain truly taped by that of red hair (Virginia?) On black background, which seems to me a sensitivity to the edge of the loss of balance: just a few fractions of a second and the hair will have slipped on the shoulder ...
Well, I wanted to congratulate you and wish every success in your projects you, your photos are beautiful.
Sincerely,
Sophie
February 28th, 2006 at 6:25
Hey Ben,
Great pictures. The only problem for me is the small side "glitz" of a post-treatment sometimes lacks subtlety.
But otherwise, you have a real look "graphic".
February 28th, 2006 at 6:26
A big BRAVO for your work

I try to follow your way a bit but you already have a lot in advance.
Or rather, I have lagged far behind
Congratulations again for your photos.
March 1st, 2006 at 6:26

I've also enjoyed your availability and I hope that someday, when I have time again, we will meet to discuss on a forum.
Good luck to you.

They really have to commencen tofs your style, I like the nightlife section, I spent the last year, I stayed on my hunger a little, and then I come back, you're damn evolved, unlike many photographers, there's something in your photos, your framing, your lights, expressions, tone and style ... it feels!!
July 10th, 2006 at 5:19
Hi Ben,
As everyone makes you compliments on the pictures (yes, I also appreciate the past few years your evolution and your eyes), a note to drag you that your pen is also made lighter and more sure ...

hi here
I will not be original, but I love it!
the composition of the photos, shooting angles and especially their colors. you really have a style of its own color, I think.
what is strong is that it is done with a gear "general public" (without being pejorative) as what it is not the equipment that makes the picture quality but beautiful and well mastered ca. (And mastery of post-treatment)
and what about the website soprere very intuitive and fluid. everything perfectly!
Congratulations and good luck
August 1st, 2006 at 4:13

I found a photo of "spitting" on-site "Pixelistes" and I was flabbergasted by the mastery of the subject and the treatment of B & B.
The eclecticism in the choice of subjects and the skill with which you treat your photos as when shooting at that post-treatment suggest a good career for you.
Congratulations, continue to polish up your work, you will be rewarded, I am sure.
October 7th, 2006 at 8:54

At this stage, it is not the photograph is of the frozen poetry, painting on pélicule, now surprised by the eye of the master and perpetuated in the infinite, a stroll along the time when the light comes to give relief to the imagination.

Hello Benjamin,
Congratulations on the site!
The quality of the presentation, the quality of the images (and displaying).
Also thank you for sharing your experience through tutorials and "discoveries" diverse.
I just have a feeling of "confusion" in the navigation between menu items and I find it unfortunate that the "click" on a link does not open it in a new window. Good luck!

Hello, Benjamin,
To see your photos, we know that the amateur or pro is the author. Bravo humility combined with such generosity. I really learned a lot of things especially in an "evening, night cloub". Thank you tutorials.
Otherwise, your photos are stunning, the "top" site.
Finally, thank you for the slap, if you are "amateur" me, that's for sure, I'm back everyman.
January 18th, 2008 at 5:20
Always amazing pictures because of their quality when you come here. This is a treat!
Cheers and happy new year full of photos!

Hi Benjamin,
just to tell you that I think your site is really easy to read, full of information, very interesting tutorials section for amateur while remaining affordable for beginners, easy navigation ...
Congratulations for your shots and especially for funds that you do so carefully. Many colors and "views" surprising.
How I knew your site by following the link http://www.macandphoto.com/ .
Since your work has become a reference for me to come take a look regularly.
When will the workshops where we could see you in action.
Soon I hope

February 5th, 2008 at 11:12
Ah then ... I am amazed. And jealous. What got stung photo style I wish I could do. Outrageous.
My criticism, as my photos, is that of a beginner who has little reference points, but I know what I see! Technical nice shooting mixed with processing work precisely dosed.
Oh and again, a good point for a Swiss who has lived 19 years in Brussels, there's images that inevitably snapped a few memories of the capital ...
Keep your head still and cold, there's good!

Hi,
I am also self-taught and bump for nearly 15 years on events, features, portraits ...
I also found still very young in the photograph (and also the rest hee hee). Humbly, I must say I'm pretty speechless to what you propose. You're good, that's all.
Your frames and trigger at the right time for emotion are your major assets. I prefer you in color.
Go on, shoo you waltz into my favorites to see the evolution of it.

See you soon and congratulations again.
December 15th, 2008 at 5:10
Hello Benjamin,
Thank you again for your wonderful pictures. We have already told you, Stefaan and me, but we repeat ourselves (like that you remember the good): what a talent! Furthermore, it is not simply to have good lighting, good camera or beautiful shot. We must come to seize the moment, people, feelings. To this we must be sensitive and open to others. We must forget. Forget face people, to forget his face art. You're more than a professional, you're an artist and we wish you much success in the photo as in your private life.

hi Benjamin,
I am also an amateur photographer, a student at the school photo of the city of Brussels. I spent a lot of time on your site, read your course etc ... and I just could not disconnect without putting a note. Frankly, there are incredible images ... full of captured moments that speak even to those who were not there ... I'm really on my ass when I read that you are self ... Oufti, what a great job!
I'll be back for sure ...
Only negative in my view point too much technical detail, too much explanation editing etc. ... not that drunk that I read because every explanation is interesting to qqun makes the picture ... but does not tell you too your talent? Your photos than sufficient to itself ...
Qqun agrees?
I prefer to see the photos without knowing how you did ...
It leaves a pleasant thought ...

Hello benjamin,
Since you're Pro, you forget your web fans ... It's almost 6 months since you have nothing posted and even Twitter is not new.
We are sure you must have a hectic lifestyle and you can not publish your sessions pro, but a small series that you have the secret to all of us would do well!
I am sure that this message will be followed by other fans like me who are waiting for a publication.
Thank you and good luck

Hi to you,
What can I say, apart from thank you! Thank you to you for sharing and to share your experience, your advice, your tips, etc ...
This is really super rewarding, and it is clear and simple.
Your work is neat and really fun to watch.
The example of the wedding photo is really speaking to me as I began to find myself in a somewhat similar case, that is to say the friends of friends who want you cover the event as an official.
That you mention in your career, is breathtaking and is certainly want more than one of us (me included).
Pass the course to become independent and turns his passion .... YES!
But hey, it does not come without hard work and investment. In any case your website is a real nice discovery for me and I intend to regularly see what happens there.
So Congratulations for your work and humility.
The pleasure to read you soon ..!

+1 For Launie59.
Even on this hfr died in death ...
We understand that you may be a little moved on the web helped you in the beginning, then you could be getting visibility. And now that you're widely known and you have proven yourself, it has much more to give you. But you can still bring a lot to many people.

Maybe you will be able to impose one or two articles per month, it is not so binding, right?

Hello,
I fell completely by chance on your site, I was looking for tips for photos of parties, concerts ... I'm only 18, and years of experience in the field of photography. I wanted to thank you for your simple and precise tutorials, I have traveled many places "professional" but never find what I was looking for: advice from experience, a nice photographer could give me to a concert or evening, answering all my questions young beginner. Thank you for this great help, I'm looking forward to Saturday now to take pictures of a concert I was lucky enough to be boosted to be invited to shoot anything that moves, goes on stage and in the public!
Congratulations!
