Cards
December 20th, 2007
When one walks around with a box in hand, it happens regularly that you are asked a "map" and mostly I find myself to write the address of my site on a receipt or on a card belonging to visit someone else, it makes a brief moment I'm looking for a carry business cards.
The rest of this post looks a bit like an extract from teleshopping but the service really convinced me and I wanted to share it!
My criteria for business cards are as follows: the price, digital printing (not to be limited by the quad), possibility of making small quantities, paper 300g/m2 minimum to maintain rigidity and the possibility of have different cards in small quantities.
I discovered there are few site moo.com well known by Flickr users (the site offers print images directly from Flickr images) that offers this kind of products with a very attractive price.
The principle is very simple, it registers on the site, it is uploading his images online (the site supports zip files containing the images to avoid uploading the pictures one by one), it reframes the images (the card format is 28mm x 70 mm) with the online tool, we chose the data indicate the back and a few days later we get the cards all at a price of 14.99 euros for 100 cards.

I placed my order on the site Monday, December 17th and I received the cards Thursday, December 20, given the size of the images I sent images directly taken from the site ie images in 72 dpi for resolution of 700 pix.

The only criticism I might make is unable to upload their logo next to his own information, we limit ourselves to choose between several logo available on the site (a small house, a button "new" etc ...) so if you wish to have your logo on it will directly include it in your images

Thank you for the info. It sounds really interesting .... especially for the price
!

Yeah As said Mr D'before the price is very interesting and personal cards and then like this really make a difference with your receipt cited in the article
Thank you for the info
See you soon

glad to know that it happens quickly, it is the delivery time that I had been blocked
What I find exciting is the possibility of 100 different cards in the same package, it's still better than 100 times the same image!
about the logo, you can put your avatar flickr if you want, so the idea is to order with a flickr account on purpose with an avatar that contains your logo. Finally I think I read it at Moo

really interesting ... I'm gonna go check it out.
thank you for this customer return seems he meets ...

Here is something very interesting.
It's been a while since I created my business card, and I was going to contact a printer in the coming days knowing that I was not going to have different cards I veus for affordable and of small amounts (I hesitate between several photos so in the end I created several maps).
This site is a nice alternative while waiting for the model I really veus which will unfortunately much less affordable.
Thank you very much for this info: Benjamin, have your cards look beautiful!

Hello,
Financially I do not think it's really interesting.
A printer card for you at 1000 + / - € 110.
But where I'm interested vachemment is that it is small in quantity and above all different
Here it is clear that this is nifty.
Especially since I too was about to order my printer
Thank you for the info

Wow, had not seen the size. 28mm to 70mm.
It's not too pokey size as that?
December 21st, 2007 at 24:29
They just won a customer
December 21st, 2007 at 11:07
Cool as a principle but customizable enough for my taste ... Do you know any websites that offer to print business cards, but when we give all (a. Jpg which serves business card for example)?
December 22nd, 2007 at 4:33
dati> financially it's very interesting when you're thinking that 100 cards all different, a printer, it does not cost you € 15, solid box included
Jean-Roman> looking digital printers: those that print in full color do not take this kind of files but digital printers, yes. Vistaprint does, for example, but I have no idea of the quality, I have never tested their homes.

Krysalia, thank you for the tips on the avatar, I'll try that on another series that I will send them
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:10
Rightly, about a shipment by flickr, I have a flickr account not paid but does somebody know if MOO accesses high-resolution images or only has access to clean cuts in 1024 to free accounts flickr ?
I can say it can be given the qaulité that I will receive next week
December 23rd, 2007 at 2:17
pixel, the pictures I sent were web versions, 50k 700 pixels and the quality is sufficient
December 23rd, 2007 at 3:59
krysalia: Yes, for VistaPrint. The problem is that a friend had in fact done and the quality is really not to go ... :-/ I think I'll go through a digital printer, as you advise me.
December 23rd, 2007 at 9:22
It is true that it's already done 253 dpi at 700 pixels wide
My fear was mostly cut vertically for the views, the AC is just. Especially that ideally they will be used as cards "pro"
Verdict unpacking it!
Thank you anyway for making me discover this site, exactly what I needed

A dozen have a problem cutting and I find them a bit small, but otherwise the finish is beautiful and the pictures make it well.
If they had the idea to do the same by doubling the surface, I would prenneur!
January 14th, 2008 at 7:15
Received three days ago and nice but I admit that the quality control does not equal a pro, I've already made. But if the fact of having 100 different pleases me well.
For those who want to test inexpensively, you can even get 10 free cards with new account pro 'flickr. Anyway this is the promotion of the moment.

I was doing before you travel (for distributing the bottom), it's true a good little product, but there is a way to put its logo on the back it sufit temporarily change the profile flickr photo are ( which can be use as a logo) by an image of said logo.

Hello,
I also printed my cards from moo.
Logo for your problem, there is a parade:
- You upload all your pictures on flickr
- As you put your logo flickr logo
- Do you make all your pictures look of your gallery by flickr moo
- And voila: your logo is available from logos moo
that's how I did
