Some pictures taken in a butterfly house, the couple Nikon D200 Tamron 90mm macro and (yes still the same), I hardly ever used my objot macro to make the ... macro, tamron suits me perfectly in portrait and I am not a fan of the macro. The aim here was to test it in its primary use. Basically I left for work in flash but the result was very flat, I tried the remote flash pictures thanks to Nikon's wireless, but the pictures were just too "flat" is probably not my -mastery of the subject.

So I opted to work in daylight, pushing my sensitivity was 400 isos. The tamron in terms of AF is slow, it does not have an internal focusing and going back and forth of the barrel is quite frustrating to seize the moment, work in manual focus is still the fastest way to get has a good result.

I was lucky enough to catch a parade before breeding male, the female is static and the male continues to move around. I still have my mind on the images was selected to draw an interesting triptych, pending some pictures of the parade are available in the series.

As usual, the images are made in RAW and processed in Capture One with an adjustment of white balance, contrast and saturation.
