1 May in Brussels Naft, Sttellla and tutu
May 2nd, 2007
Some pictures of a free concert in Brussels to celebrate the 1mai. The lighting conditions were ideal at 400 isos with an aperture of 3.2, it was not far from 1/400, concert so very bright.
I tried to go into the pit to avoid disturbing people who came to the artists and not to see the back of a camera, I was kind enough to explain the two official photographers armed with Canon 300D with aggressive 18/55 3.5,5.6 any internal flash out that it was only for professionals and need a beautiful pink ribbon on the wrist for entering the pit.
On the other hand, being in front of the pit can do nothing but pictures of the singer and nostrils of 80/200 is long enough to get close-up.
Naft is very nice and gives off a lot of energy, the contrast of the photos is very soft, a comic continues to play with the button that sends smoke on stage and with the daylight it crushes many rendering. I try a few shots between vapor of smoke.
Soundcheck, Sttellla comes on stage, Jean-Luc is decked out in finery and unleashes the public, it is in these times that I regret not having accreditation, fill my place in the back of the group, see sharing with the public. I realize that some shots here is a selection. Special mention to the square-guitar-tutu which I'm really pleased!

Very nice set as usual, big pref for the second.
Otherwise Tribute to access scene, it's frustrating to see people of discharge through the profession, because I have sometimes seen some flash shooter to death without respecting the artist and his performance, even when c 'is a story for a local newspaper.
In short it makes you want resortir the 70/200 which begins to hibernate, Bring on the summer festivals!

Hehe reminds me of a Pink Floyd concert where I saw someone from the 'profession' unable to approach the scene because that there were no dedicated pit: it was only a pit. It is to remain cloistered with his flash 20m ^ ^ I just watched the series: I need your 80/200 and 40 ... what light Zizos only.

On my most festivals, the "pros" are very friendly, the story is not very representative but at the time I had done well smile

"300D with aggressive 18/55 3.5,5.6" ... Mdr.
Indeed, it is often non-pros playing with the pros who are less friendly. Some have access, other, talent. Good luck

you took the measurement on the face?
May 20th, 2007 at 7:27
Spot metering on the face with +0.7 / + 1.0 expo in correcting this gives me good results in general
