Fish
April 22nd, 2007
Influenced by the work of Sophie Touvenin , I wanted to make images very clear, very pure forms of playing the fish, the square format that has become obvious, non-deforming the surface of the jar is very small, a part of the image had always the basis of the jar which I think was unattractive.
The images were taken before a window against the light in order to have a white light that illuminates the outline of the fish, a flash was used to illuminate the fish.
The balance of light was made in order to have a background with a little material while avoiding illuminating the subject of the cramer.
I stayed at a speed 1/200 to avoid camera shake for close shots, the opening of F8 was necessary to increase the depth of field while maximizing sharpness.
I have other images in mind by working more with the decor (especially outdoors) other images will soon be posted on the site.

Nice shots (we did things with the Tamron 90mm
.. I'm especially a fan of views on the fins, but less of the first fish. Nice work.

Your series of fish is superb, I am green with envy

It is AT LEAST as good as Sophie Thouvenin.

It's beautiful ... Even if I do not like fish, because I'm afraid (
), I think it is superb. The angle shots, and then the colors. It is true that it is very pure ...
Wow ...
