Approach the studio Part 2

April 13th, 2006

Some pictures of the first test photos with the beautiful bowl mounted on the flash.

First observation, on the d70 with a SB600 flash it is imperative to work in manual flash cobra to avoid triggering the flash up too early.

Second observation, the light sent is very powerful, a quick look at the Exif and you will realize (f25, 1/400), so for the shallow depth of field you will have to reduce power in order to open the diaphragm or through a gray filter or through a veil over the flash.

Some pictures of the first test session at the output of the package.

Great result! I'm also starting to look for such solutions, DIY with halogens satisfies me more. It expects the following!

C't bowl history ca bothers me: with a polarizer, we can not do without reflection while maintaining a bright light?
